Two fields now merged into one.
Prehistoric
One or two humanly-struck flint flakes were found in disturbed patches of ground, one of possible Palaeolithic origin.
Miscellaneous
Terraces were observed in this pasture field. However, the results of a geophysical survey suggest that these features almost certainly comprise natural river terraces.
Method: Geophysical survey using a resistivity meter. Observation of bare ground while surveying.
