Mixed coppice within wood, mainly hornbeam and hazel including small area of ash coppice. Plantation oaks; oaks in hedgerow.
Early Modern plantation woodland, with evidence of different phases of woodland planting. The track has been deliberately narrowed through in-planting of standards. Field perimeter standards evenly spaced as estate boundaries. Trackway banking substantial and possibly Late Medieval in origin, although the route may be much earlier.
