Two parallel linear features cut into natural geology were exposed across the base of a freshly excavated pond. Neither of these possible land drains was subject to intrusive archaeological investigation (although fire-cracked flint was observed on extant surface of fills). Four sherds of 19th-20th C. pottery were recovered from an associated spoil heap.
