An early timber-framed farmhouse located by barns is now lost.

Two test-pits excavated.

Test-pit A: yielded one sherd of 18th-19th C. pottery and examples of similarly dated brick. Possible former pond deposit recorded.

Test-pit B: yielded two sherds of 13th-14th C. pot, four pieces of mid 16th-early 18th C. pottery, 59 18th-19th C. pot sherds, 24 Post-roman tile fragments and seven 19th C. clay pipe segments.
