The late 15th C. house was the administrative centre for the manor of Barcombe.
Two test-pits excavated.
Test-pit A: contained only Post-Roman, later Medieval and Post-Medieval tile fragments.
Test pit B: Five sherds of 18th-19th C. pottery, three pieces of Post-Medieval tile and one 19th C. clay pipe segment were recovered.
