P113/33 2007 Sole Cottages - early cottage now lost. Bridge Cottage now on part of the plot

Like so many of the smaller tenements in Barcombe this is an enclosure from the manorial waste; typically a narrow strip of land lying adjacent to a highway. The cottage was built by 1837. Bridge Cottage was built on the plot after 1840.
