From the Sussex Express February 4th, 1837

'OFFHAM. The hen house of Mr James Aylwin was broken open on Friday evening 27th inst. The thieves succeeded in taking away, undiscovered, eight hens, six chicken and six eggs. A reward of £15 is offered for the apprehension and conviction of the offender or offenders.'
